She had been a Gorham resident since 1966 having moved there from New Britian Conn. where she had resided for over 60 years. She was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church, Portland, and was a member of the Eastern Star of New Britain Conn.

She leaves one daughter, Mrs. John (Eunice) Shryock of Westbrook; four grand children and one granson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. ar the Alderson Funeral Home, 201 Meadow St.,Naugatuck, Conn., with the Rev. Andrew D. Smith, rector of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Naugatuck. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. on 13 May 1979 at Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut. She was buried after 14 May 1979 at Naugatuck, New Haven County, Connecticut; Hillside Cemetery.

     

Sarah Frances Elliott was born to Annie May and Richard Milton Elliott on Thursday, 1 March 1900, in Lawrenceburg. Anderson County, Kentucky. Sarah Frances Elliott was the daughter of Richard Milton Elliott and Annie May Sherwood.

Richard Milton Elliott was born to Sara and J.W.T. Elliott on Thursday, 18 March 1880, in Anderson County, Kentucky. Richard Milton Elliott was the son of J.W.T. Elliott and Sara Brown.

Richard M. Elliott, 74, retired farmer and former guard at the American & Efrid thread mill died at his home on Woodford Street at 10 o'clock Saturday night following a year's illness.

He was a member of the Lawrenceburg Christian church and the Anderson Masonic Lodge No 90.

Survivors are his wife Mrs Sallie Huffman Elliott; a daughter, Mrs Frances Whitman, Louisville: a son John Lewis Elliott, Lawrenceburg: two grand children and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Gordon Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Jack M. Ervin and Dr George A. Jones with the masons in charge of the services at the grave in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robert L Cammack, John Sayre, Stewart McBrayer, Ben Austin, Philip Spencer and Earl Burgin.

     Annie May Sherwood was born circa 1879 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of John W. Sherwood and Sarah F (?).

Annie May Sherwood married Richard Milton Elliott, son of J.W.T. Elliott and Sara Brown. Her married name was Elliott. Annie May appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Lawrenceburg at Anderson County, at Kentucky in the household of Annie May Sherwood.
